R8ffle Code of Conduct
R8ffle Code of Conduct
Last updated: August 2026
At R8ffle, we believe competitions should be fair, transparent and exciting.
Our aim is to make sure every eligible entrant understands how our competitions work, how winners are selected and what happens if a competition does not reach the required number of entries.
This Code of Conduct sets out the principles we follow when operating R8ffle competitions.
1. Fair and Skill-Based Competitions
1.1 Skill-Based Entry
Every R8ffle competition requires entrants to answer a multiple-choice question correctly.
Our questions are designed to require genuine skill, knowledge or judgement. We do not intend to use questions that are so simple or widely known that they do not provide a meaningful test.
Only entries where the competition question has been answered correctly will qualify for the draw.
Incorrect answers will not be entered into the draw and will not be refunded, in accordance with our Competition Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Equal Treatment of Valid Entries
Every valid qualifying entry is treated equally in the winner-selection process.
Where a competition has a free postal entry route, valid free entries are treated in the same way as valid paid entries and have an equal chance of winning.
2. Eligibility and Verification
R8ffle competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
We take eligibility seriously and may require a winner to provide government-issued photographic identification before a prize is released.
Where required, we may also request additional information to verify the validity of an entry.
Each person may hold one R8ffle account only.
Where we identify multiple accounts belonging to the same person, we reserve the right to disqualify the relevant entries in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
3. Free Entry
We provide a free postal entry route for eligible participants.
A valid free entry must comply with the requirements set out in our Competition Terms and Conditions.
This includes:
– having a registered R8ffle account before sending the entry
– sending a handwritten postcard by post
– including the entrant’s full name, email address and telephone number exactly as registered
– including the exact competition name
– providing the correct answer to the competition question
– submitting one entry per postcard
– Free entries must arrive before the relevant competition closes.
– Postal entries that arrive after the closing date cannot be accepted.
– We do not accept bulk free entries sent in envelopes.
Full details of the free-entry route are available in our Competition Terms and Conditions.
4. Transparent Competition Rules
Before entering, participants should be able to understand the key terms of the competition.
Competition information will set out the relevant details, including:
– the prize
– entry price
– competition question
– closing arrangements
– how the winner will be selected
– eligibility requirements
– the free entry route
– what happens if the competition does not reach the required threshold
Our Terms and Conditions form part of every R8ffle competition.
5. Winner Selection
R8ffle winners are selected during a live-streamed draw on our official social media channels.
A random number generator is used to select the winning entry from the pool of valid qualifying entries.
The draw process is designed to ensure that eligible entries have a fair opportunity to be selected.
Streaming or technical problems affecting a third-party social media platform will not, by themselves, invalidate an otherwise properly conducted draw.
6. Competition Thresholds
R8ffle competitions can operate for a maximum of 12 months from launch.
Where a competition sells out before its advertised deadline, the draw may take place earlier.
7. Prize Delivery and Verification
Before a prize is released, the winner may be required to complete appropriate verification checks.
For vehicle prizes, the winner must provide proof of valid insurance effective from the date of delivery.
Vehicle prizes include free delivery to the winner’s UK address or another agreed UK location, subject to the applicable competition terms.
Road tax is the responsibility of the winner.
Prizes are subject to any applicable manufacturer or dealer warranty. R8ffle does not provide an additional warranty unless expressly stated.
8. Winner Contact and Redraws
Once a winner has been selected, R8ffle will attempt to contact them using the contact information held on their account.
We will attempt to contact the winner for 14 days, making contact attempts at least once every 48 hours during that period.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their contact information remains accurate and up to date.
If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to provide the required verification within the relevant period, the prize may be forfeited.
Where this happens, a new winner will be selected from the original pool of correct qualifying entries.
9. Protecting the Integrity of R8ffle
We take steps to protect our competitions from fraudulent or unfair activity.
The following are prohibited:
– automated entries, bots, scripts or macros
– bulk or artificially generated entries
– operating multiple R8ffle accounts
– providing false or misleading information
– attempting to manipulate a competition or draw
– attempting to interfere with the website or random number generator
– attempting to access unauthorised areas of our systems
– reselling entries
– using entries for commercial purposes or on behalf of third parties
– threatening, abusive or harassing behaviour towards R8ffle, our staff or other participants
Where prohibited activity is identified, we may void entries, suspend or close accounts, refuse participation or take further action where appropriate.
10. Payments and Entries
R8ffle uses online payment services to process paid competition entries.
We aim to ensure that successful transactions and qualifying entries are recorded accurately.
Where a payment is unsuccessful or an order has not been successfully completed, an entry will not be treated as a valid paid entry unless the relevant competition terms provide otherwise.
Entries are non-refundable except where required by law or where a competition is cancelled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
11. Technical Issues
We work to maintain reliable website and competition systems, but no website or online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Technical problems, maintenance, payment-provider issues, hosting problems or third-party platform outages may occasionally affect the website or competition process.
Where an issue occurs, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and resolve it.
We will not knowingly use a technical issue to unfairly disadvantage participants.
12. Data Protection
R8ffle is operated by Mills Competitions Ltd.
We process participant information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

14. Our Commitment

Fair. Transparent. Responsible.
We will continue to review our competition processes, website systems and procedures as R8ffle develops.
Where we identify opportunities to improve the participant experience or the integrity of our competitions, we will take reasonable steps to make those improvements.
Our commitment is simple:
We want you to know what you’re entering, understand the rules and trust the process.
